Ek Chhoti Si Love Story of a 15-yr-old gangster

Indore: Even before he could turn 15, Chhota Raju had become a dreaded criminal of Indore. With two daring shootouts on his CV, he was tipped to be the new don of the city. But he fell for a married woman, and the fall from disgrace came soon after.
Raju (whose real name can't be disclosed because he is a juvenile criminal) was arrested by the city police on Monday for his involvement in three daylight shootouts. At the police station he narrated his story, full of love, lust, crime, vanity and hubris.
A few months ago, Raju, a resident of Indore, turned to crime for supporting his extravagant lifestyle. He put together a small gang comprising three more youth, two of them, Shyam and Sandeep, from
Rajasthan's Pratapgarh district. Together, they pulled off a series of petty crimes.
A few months ago, he spotted a married woman in Indore's Akash Nagar area, where he lives, and made her husband flee from home at gunpoint. Raju started living with the woman and her kid.
Police said the woman and the gangster had been staying together for almost six months.
"The husband left after Raju threatened to kill him. We do not know if the woman had consented to the relation with the gangster," police sources said.
On September 1, he spotted one of his classmates with her mother and started harassing them. When the mother protested, he shot at her and fled. Afraid of him, the mother refused to disclose the assailants identity.
The next day the minor don opened fire at a building contractor Ram Singh when the latter thwarted the gang's robbery attempt. The accused became so furious when Singh tried to stop him that instead of fleeing the spot, Raju called the contractor and injured him grievously.
Police said Raju was caught because of his habit of leaving behind his slippers at the crime scene.
"He believed in this superstition. He would leave his footwear behind and wear whatever he could find in the house the gang robbed," police said.
While the gang leader and his accomplices from Rajasthan are now in police net, the woman is missing.
Police said they were trying to track her down. "If she files a complaint against him, he would be tried also for abduction and rape," police said.
