According to Vedic scriptures when atrocities of demon forces intensified goddess Durga appeared to save the deities and humanity. The deities worshipped the Goddess and offered her celestial articles and weapons.

11. The ocean gifted divine garlands clothing, earrings bracelets, rings and gems.
12. Another ocean offered her ever blooming Lotus garlands.
13. 'Himalya' presented her the powerful lion to ride over.
14. Lord Kuber gifted her sacred honey pot.
